THANGAM LABORATORY
Thangam laboratory provides world care diagnostic services in Namakkal Thangam hospital. This lab was started in 1985 with just a cbc machine and now has automated machines in all platforms.
- HAEMATOLOGY
has a 5 part automated Mindray machine for running complete haemogram.
- BIOCHEMISTRY
has a 5 part automated Mindray machine for running complete haemogram.
- IMMUNOLOGY
the e411 analyzer is a fully automated analyzer that uses a patented electrochemiluminescence (ECL) technology for immunoassay analysis. It is designed for both quantitative and qualitative in vitro assay.
- HISTOPATHOLOGY
our histopathology lab has state of art grossing station with processing for tissue, Leica microtome and stating for biopsy specimens.
- IMMUNOHISTOCHEMISTRY
we have automated Roche Ventana platform to run immunohistochemistry on tissues and cell block . We have standardized various monoclonal as well as polyclonal antibodies for this purpose and are using this platform to give exact type and subtype of cancer
- FLOWCYTOMETRY
To diagnose leukemias and lymphomas our laboratory has Dx FLEX -3 laser 13 colour automated flowcytometry. This flowcytometry detects and analyze the chemical and physical characteristics of cells using laser based technique.
- MOLECULAR LAB
We have closed system RT PCR for various infectious diseases and molecular sub typing of the cancer.
